Accessibility at Sound Legacy
Sound Legacy exists to help people share their stories, and that means everyone should be able to experience them.
We want this website to work well for all visitors, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, or other assistive technology.
We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That includes adding captions to our videos, providing transcripts for audio content, writing descriptive text for images, and making sure the site can be navigated without a mouse.
Visiting the studio
Our studio is on the second floor of a historic building without an elevator. If stairs are a barrier for you or anyone joining your session, just let me know. I'm happy to come to you, or to book a fully accessible studio space for your recording. Either option comes at no extra cost, and the quality of your film or recording will be the same.
Let me know how I can help
This is ongoing work, and we may not have everything right yet. If you run into anything on this site or in working with us that's hard to see, hear, or use, please let me know. I'll do my best to fix it quickly and, in the meantime, get you what you need another way.
